What Is AS/NZS 2210.3 Certification for Safety Shoes?
AS/NZS 2210.3:2009 was the earlier joint Australian and New Zealand safety-footwear standard. In Australia, it has been superseded by AS 2210.3:2019.
The current standard assesses key properties such as toe protection, slip resistance, penetration resistance, electrical performance, water resistance and outsole durability. It helps employers, distributors and PPE buyers select suitable footwear for construction, mining, electrical, and oil and gas workplaces.
