What OEKO-TEX® Changes
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 tests textile materials against more than 1,000 potentially harmful substances. Testing requirements become stricter as the level of skin contact increases.
For safety footwear buyers, this certification provides additional confidence that tested materials meet recognised human-ecological requirements.
OEKO-TEX® does not replace CE marking or EN ISO 20345. Instead, it complements physical protection standards by adding another level of material safety and transparency.
